On Kuauhtli
For those that don’t know already, this is the beautiful, 70-something native dude from Texas that entrusted things to me.
He has been leading tipis for 40-odd years, and is the living embodiment of how to walk in this beautiful this way.
He has made many changes to the constraints of the Native America Church, tho he holds a chapter of that organisation (Teotlkali Quetzalcoatl), and in turn, we hold a chapter of his chapter (Teoltkali Floricantos).
And he has received a lot of flak for many of those changes : bringing stringed instruments into the space, as well as Chocolate, taking breaks, and indeed sharing these ways with the likes of us. But he takes it all in his mighty stride.
I just wanted to introduce and salute this great, joyous, funny, profound, and loving warrior here.
